The Center for Human Security (CHS) partnered with the Colorado Springs World Affairs Council to bring Latin American diplomatic and academic leaders to UCCS campus. The distinguished guests included Ambassador John Maisto, former U.S. Ambassador to Nicaragua and Venezuela, and Dr. Ernesto Medina, Rector of the American University of Managua (UAM). Steve Recca, CHS' Executive Director, organized introductions with key UCCS personnel, including Chancelor Pam Shockley-Zalabak, to discuss future collaborations.
