About: Both academic and professional skills are addressed via presentations and workshops in the Skills Development Series, open to all UCCS School of Public Affairs students. Several events, the content of which, are selected in response to student and faculty input, are held throughout the academic year.

Assistant Dean Regina Winters and Assistant Professor Dr. Stephanie Ryon presented on "Practical, Focused, and Grantor Friendly Evaluation Tips and Pitfalls" to help those in the nonprofit sector to to maximize their evaluation experience.

Capstone Projects

Dr. Anna Kosloski explains the requirements and preparations to complete the graduate Thesis or Capstone Project. In addition Dr. Deborah Kenny, Director of UCCS' Institutional Review Board (IRB), talks about the IRB process, while Tabatha Farney, Director of Web Services and Emerging Technologies at UCCS' Kraemer Family Library, introduces the library's resources to facilitate the Capstone Project.
