Why Choose UCCS Social Work

Social work is a hands-on profession that strives to help individuals, families, groups and communities deal with diverse problems. Nationally, the 10-year job growth predictions for social work range between 15% and 22%, which is much faster than most comparable professions.

The UCCS Master of Social Work program emphasizes trauma-informed social work practice, and prepares students to change lives and communities in the realms of military, health care, child welfare, education, and other areas.
