Social Work Information

Social work is a practice-based profession and an academic discipline that promotes social change & development, social cohesion, and the empowerment and liberation of people.  Social workers are employed in a variety of settings, including mental health clinics, schools, child welfare and human service agencies, hospitals, settlement houses, community development corporations, and private practices.

We don't have any information sessions scheduled. Please email socialwork@uccs.edu to schedule a meeting with our Student Services Specialist to discuss the MSW program at UCCS. Information sessions for fall 2022 will be updated soon!
